The Deerfoot Inn & Casino adheres to the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) values for responsible gaming, and remain committed to providing the highest standard of integrity and ethics in all of our gaming practices.
Our casino has always promoted responsible gaming, and is proud to be the first in Calgary to have implemented an AGLC-staffed Responsible Gaming Information Centre (RGIC). The RGIC delivers a wide range of innovative and interactive awareness programs designed to inform guests about a variety of gambling topics, including cost of play and tips on managing their gambling activities.
Additionally, customers can voluntarily exclude themselves from all casinos in Alberta by enrolling in the province’s Voluntary Self-Exclusion (or VSE) program. The Deerfoot Inn & Casino is committed to providing current education and continual support to our team, along with the RGIC staff, to assist patrons and inform them of their options. The VSE program provides cross-province consistency in delivery, and there is no charge for this confidential service.
Application forms for the VSE program can be found online at www.aglc.gov.ab.ca, or at AGLC offices in St. Albert and Calgary, and are available at each of Alberta’s casinos.

Our company is a proud member of the Alberta Charitable Casino Operators, and abides by the principles outlined in the ACCO’s code of conduct. We use their guidelines as an integral role while we continue to develop relationships with guests, our charities, and the Calgary community every day.
